Product Description


Uses of low-sulfur calcined coke: used as insulation material and filler in the manufacture of graphite electrodes and special carbon products; used as a carburizing agent or reducing agent in the metallurgical casting industry, and in the titanium industry. Usage of medium sulfur calcined coke: generally used in aluminum smelting, mainly used in prebaked anodes and cathodes for electrolytic aluminum.
Calcined petroleum coke can be divided into high-sulfur coke, whose sulfur content is more than 3%, and low-sulfur coke, whose sulfur content is less than 3%. Low-quality calcined petroleum coke is mainly used for smelting industrial silicon and producing anode plastics. High-sulfur coke is generally used as fuel in cement plants and power plants.

Graphitized petroleum coke is widely used in industry and is used as a carburizing agent in metallurgy, casting, and precision casting; it is the best carburizing agent.
